Gramma's Frequently Asked Questions
Gramma is about the experience.
Gender euphoria? Most certainly.
Who is Gramma and what is Gramma's Sausages?
Gramma's Sausages is a trans-owned single-member LLC located in Louisville, KY. "Gramma" (she/her) is the alter-ego of the owner, Andrew Esterle (any pronoun works :P): Scientist turned Sausage Artist who uses his unique background in a variety of laboratories (you can read about him here) to innovate the packer industry!
Gramma takes pride in each individual and unique handmade packer she makes. Each packer is formulated for a unique, comfortable, realistic feel not found anywhere else. Keep checking for updates - Gramma loves throwing curve balls!
What goes into creating these products?
Each packer purchased from Gramma is unique - every single packer is individually hand-sculpted, hand poured, and hand-painted using her own secret recipes and proprietary formulas in conjunction with the highest caliber and (independent lab tested) safest materials to create a high quality, out-of-this-world packer with an excellent and realistic feel.
Soon, we will get into more details about the process! Wait for our "How to make your own dicks" educational series!!!
No factory lines here - Gramma's sausages are functional and distinctive works of art.
Gramma puts around 8-12 hours+ of love, including the quality assurance and control process, into her most complex and innovative packer models on the market - known as the F3+ line. Having been a laboratory scientist for over a decade, she also dedicates her time off (#nerd) researching new, more cutting edge advancements in elastomer specific material sciences and related fields.
Is there discreet shipping?
Gramma neatly packages your prosthetic like she would any fancy lunch - vacuum sealed for peak sausage freshness!
Your order will arrive inside the shipped generic envelope or package from USPS addressed to you from "Gramma Andrew." Gramma also includes a special hand-written personalized thank you note for good sausage juju (it increases sausage powers!)! Scroll to the bottom of the page to see pics!
Why isn't <x> in stock?! When will it be back in stock??
Gramma has been getting a lot of attention lately (and thus a ton of orders!). She is a one <wo>man operation on the materials, research, and manufacturing side of things. With the end goal being quality in each and every product, we prefer to offer quality items rather than profiting as much as possible for mediocre product. At the moment, we "restock" domestic customs request at the first of each month. We are currently figuring out Gramma's most efficient capacity - she wants to prevent burnout and retain enthusiasm throughout the company's lifespan! If that means waiting longer for a product, so be it, she says!
Return & Exchange Policy
Due to the intimate nature of our products, health and safety considerations, and because many items are custom made to order, we ARE NOT able to accept returns or exchanges. We encourage our customers to make educated and confident purchases. Please contact us prior to purchase if you have any questions regarding your items. If you are unsure on how to use a product, please contact us prior to ordering. Please check sizes to ensure these will work with your body and the clothing you expect to wear.
Ordering the wrong size or color of silicone products (packers, STP, dildos, etc) and/or clothing (underwear or harnesses), including items not living up to your expectations will not be a reason for us to accept a return for refund or exchange. If the product is damaged after your use of the product, we can not refund based on use nor your dissatisfaction. Customized and made to order products are always inspected before shipping to ensure it meets Gramma's high expectations of quality and matches the choices you made on the order.
For most cases, product damage is easily fixable with a dab of Sil-Poxy (check out our video - repairs your sausage in less than 15 minutes...wow!!)
How do I cancel my order?
Pre-made items may be cancelled at any time before the item has shipped. We ship pre-made items quickly (the longest wait often being 72 hours, the shortest wait having been 20 minutes post order), so be quick to reach out about cancelling those purchases if you desire to do so!
Made-to-Order items may be cancelled up to 7 days after purchase (if and only if it is not already "processing" which means it's already in production!) - refunds will be issued within that same 7 day grace period (e.g. 2 business days between your cancellation and a full refund $$$ in your bank account!). We are trying our best to be fair to you as our customers and Gramma as well to plan accordingly with material and reagent purchases.
Gramma understands impulse buying and the regret that ensues afterwards! Because of this, we give y'all a window of 7 days to cancel your order -- only if the order has not been already shipped. After 7 days, the order has been entered into our production schedule and generally cannot be cancelled. Any order that contains custom or made-to-order items cannot be cancelled or refunded after 7 days. However, if you need any help or have any questions about your order, email us at orders@grammassausages.com.
How long will my packer take to ship?
Depending on the current order volume, your customized or made-to-order items may take anywhere up to 8 weeks to ship (during high volume production times!). Pre-made items generally ship 1-3 days. When Gramma has printed your shipping label you will receive an email notification with your package's USPS tracking information - there is generally a 1-2 day delay to be received by USPS, as Gramma performs one last quality check before shipment (by the time it's out, there have been three quality inspections!). Therefore, there is often a short delay between shipping confirmation emails and receipt of USPS. Feel free to check with Gramma if you have concerns! No shame in doing so! Gramma understands. :)
How long will my packer last?
At the moment, Gramma is still researching the life-expectancy of packers through daily use. Due to the softness and realistic feel of the products, packers are prone to wear-and-tear over time - how much time is very much dependent on how the packer is treated -- in transit Gramma had some issues with the envelopes being treated poorly in transit and has switched to boxes only for delicate models (e.g. F3+ / F3 packers).
We recommend the purchase of a patch kit from Gramma or products which adhere silicone to silicone (and are skin safe) like Sil-poxy (keep searching it, they're having supply chain issues with the tube and therefore availability is very hit or miss!).
Gramma very much prefers Sil-poxy. Currently, we are considering logistics for Gramma's packer repair add-on, which would involve shipping us your old packers and us fixin' em up.
